- Curtain:Interlocking slats, cold-rolled galvanized steel; optional baked-on gray enamel or 304 stainless steel; SC3 or SF3 profiles
- Endlocks: Maintain slat alignment and reduce wear
- Windload: Rated to 20 psf; optional windlocks for higher loads
- Slat Thickness: 20ga. (up to 20 ft wide); 18ga. for wider spans
- Bottom Bar: Dual steel angles (min. ⅛”)
- Counterbalance: Helical torsion spring system, grease-packed, sealed bearings, 25% safety load factor
- Drop Mechanism: Viscous speed governor for controlled descent; activated by alarm, detector, or 165˚ fusible link
- End Brackets: Steel plates (min. ¼”) with sealed ball bearings
- Guides: 3″ structural steel angles (min. 3/16″ thick)
- Hood: 24-gauge galvanized steel with intermediate supports
- Locking: Slide bolts with padlock provisions (manual/chain); motorized versions feature self-locking gears
- Finish: Rust-inhibiting primer on non-galvanized surfaces
